Ayurvedic medicine, also known as Ayurveda, is a system of medicine that originated in India more than 3,000 years ago. The word Ayurveda comes from the Sanskrit words ayus, meaning life, and veda, meaning knowledge. Ayurvedic treatment in Deutschland is based on the principle that all living things are made up of five elements: earth, water, fire, air, and space. Each element has its own qualities and functions. In order to maintain good health, it is important to keep these elements in balance.

There are three main principles of Ayurvedic medicine:

1) The mind and body are connected.

2) Everyone is unique and should be treated as an individual.

3) Prevention is better than cure.
